The only competition you should ever have is with the teacher you were yesterday. In this day and age it is far too easy to compare yourself against other "Pinterest perfect" teachers and classrooms but this comparison can be damaging to your self-belief. This is dangerous as your self-belief as a teacher is what will determine your success. So be the best by competing against yourself. This is between you and you; no one else.
